The FRAME Chair was one outcome from a collaboration with Mourne Textiles, an Irish heritage hand-weaving brand from County Down. This collaboration, initiated by The Year of Irish Design 2015 was exhibited at their “Liminal – Irish Design at the Threshold” show at the Salone Del Mobile in Milan, WantedDesign in New York, Dublin and Eindhoven for DDW15.

Collaboration
Mourne Textiles produce stunning hand-woven textiles from their studio and workshop in the Mourne Mountains. The textiles represent generations of skill and heritage. The FRAME chair was a design exploration of how these traditional materials can exist and perform in a contemporary context.
